Tell us more about who you are and what you do!
My name is Bergen Hart! I’m a big lover of fashion and design. I worked as an interior designer at Alice Lane for the last couple years, but decided I wanted to go back to school to finish my degree. I’m currently studying film at UVU where I get to watch lots of movies and learn about the industry! While I was working at Alice Lane I started posting my work outfit videos on TikTok. The platform became a place where I loved sharing fashion and design inspo. It’s been such a fun way to stay inspired and play with my own style!
We love your style, tell us about where you find your inspiration?
I’m a big Pinterest gal but I also love finding inspo on TikTok. There are so many great creators that inspire me to style my clothes in new ways. Lately I’ve been loving Heather Hurst’s content (@pigmami) because she inspires me to rewear the clothes I already own in new ways.
Are you more a fall/winter or spring/summer kind of girl and why?
I love the idea of fall clothing, but the truth is it’s only fall for a couple weeks in Utah. Once winter hits I care more about being warm than being cute, so I would say I’m more of a summer girl. I love just throwing on an easy summer dress, or a tank top and jeans.
What are some traditions for the holiday season that you’re looking forward to?
I love making sugar cookies and decorating them with my family! My husband and I are also big movie watchers and love to watch lots of Christmas movies.
Do you have a theme or aesthetic you’re trying to stick to for holiday decor this season? Give us the vision!
I wanted my house to have more of a vintage vibe this year. I added lots of vintage ornaments to my tree as well as a vintage angel tree topper!
We see you live in Utah! Can you share any tips for dressing cute even when it’s cold outside?
It’s so hard to feel stylish in the winter when it’s so cold! My main tip is to get a coat that you love so you're warm and then have fun with the accessories. I’ve been loving the look of bold colored scarfs this year!
How are you styling your Just Black Denim jeans this winter?
I can’t stop wearing my JBD jeans! They’re so comfortable, which is really important to me when it’s cold because I just want to be cozy. I usually throw them on with an oversized sweater and mary janes. I love cuffing my jeans and adding a fun sock so that I feel more styled. Wearing mary janes with denim has been my uniform lately!
