Hi! My name is Sydnie Haag (pronounced hay-g) haha. I am a wife, mom and content creator based in Arizona! We actually just moved here about 5 months ago all the way from Georgia. It’s been the best decision we’ve ever made for our family!

We love your style, tell us about where you find your inspiration?
Thank you! I feel like it has taken me a couple years to truly find my style, especially because I had 2 kids in that time frame. I find inspiration through Pinterest and I am very much into the Tomboy Chic fashion. I love girly silhouettes and textures, but I also love a good baggy fit.

We love seeing your motherhood content on IG - what would you say are your greatest joys of raising your kiddos?
Being a mom has been the hardest and most rewarding thing I have ever done. It’s so surreal seeing the little people that you made from scratch learn new things and grow into a little person. I love seeing mine and my husband's hard work come to fruition, like when I see my kids being kind when they don’t know I’m there or when I see them master a new skill. There is nothing like it.
How do you balance fashion/trends and practicality when getting dressed as a busy mom?
I love this question! I have learned that I need to be able to throw an outfit together and run out the door, so finding pieces that resonate with me and aren’t going to restrict me as a mom are top tier. I used to buy into almost every trend only to wear the piece once and not think about it again, so I’ve had to learn to really question and think about the purchase I make before I hit that “complete purchase” button. I usually have a wishlist in my notes app and just put the link or picture of the item there and reference it every once in a while. More times than not, I end up deleting most of the items on the list because I realize I don’t truly need it or won’t get much wear out of it.

What was your process of finding your personal style again after becoming a mom?
Oh man. This took a lot of trial and error. For a lot of women, after you become a mom, you kind of lose who you are in the process. I had to relearn what I even liked to do in my day to day life. Finding my personal style after having kids honestly just looked like playing dress up most of the time. I would often throw on an outfit that I saw someone else wear simply because it looked cute on them, but it didn’t feel like ME at all. I feel like one day it almost just clicked. Like I would see an outfit… recreate it and it would be like a lightbulb went off. Like “oh I feel like myself in this outfit. I LOVE how this outfit looks”
What is an outfit formula you always go to when you don’t know what you wear?
Always always always… baggy jeans and a tight shirt/white tee. I’ve actually been wearing my Courtney Cargos so much because I feel like they’re perfect for this kind of look. I also love that they aren’t high waisted. I swore I wasn’t going to like low waisted jeans… yet here I am!
Are there any trends you’re looking forward to experimenting with as the weather warms up?
I love that boxer shorts were super popular last year, so I’m excited to see that they don’t seem to be going away quite yet. I love dressing boxer shorts up with a cute top and Mary Janes! You could even do a cool sneaker, but I have a feeling boxer shorts are going to be a lifesaver in this Arizona heat!
Can you share any big events or fun things you’re looking forward to this spring?
We are actually going back to our hometown to visit friends and family this spring so I’m excited about that! It’s also going to be our first spring/summer in Arizona so I’m excited to check out some hiking trails and lay out by the pool with my husband and our littles!

How are you styling your JBD jeans this spring?
Going back to my go to outfit… JBD jeans and a cutie little top! I love how versatile each pair of JBD jeans are, so I’m excited to dress them up for date nights and dress them down for when I’m just running errands with the boys.
