Tell us a bit about who you are and what you do!
Hi there! I’m Lucia, a 32-year old Los Angeles native and freelance content creator/graphic designer. I love creating across lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and wellness— I’ve never been one to stick to just one niche!

How did you get started with content creation?
I’ve always leaned into my creative side growing up, which led me to USC where I graduated with a BA in Design. I also spent a fun semester abroad in London at LCF pursuing fashion design. I began my career as a graphic designer, but my curiosity of other mediums pushed me to explore video editing and photography along the way. I’ve spent the last few years creating content in-house for corporate brands and recently made the leap into freelance content creation.

How would you describe your personal style today, and what was the journey like to develop it?
Now that I’m in my early 30s, I find myself gravitating toward a more classic, staple wardrobe and investing in pieces that can carry me through different seasons. That said, I still love having fun with my outfits—so I’ll usually start with a simple base and add an accent, whether that’s a pop of color, a pattern(I love animal prints), or an exaggerated silhouette.

Now that spring has arrived, describe your perfect spring day! What would you do, where would you eat, what are you wearing?
Being a spring baby myself makes this time of year feel extra special! My perfect Los Angeles spring day would start with a heated workout, either pilates at Heated Room or yoga at Kinship. After that, I’d grab a breakfast burrito at Wake & Late before heading home to freshen up & change into a cute outfit. Then I’d head out to a cafe like Mandarin Coffee Stand for a little afternoon pick-me-up, maybe stop by a farmers market, before making my way up the PCH to catch the sunset at Malibu. Now in reality this would be incredibly ambitious in terms of driving through LA, but in my dream version of the perfect day where traffic isn’t an issue—this is exactly how it would go!
What is your go-to outfit formula when you feel like you have nothing to wear?
I always start with a pair of well-loved jeans— I’ve had the Jenna Low Rider Baggy jeans on repeat! From there, I’ll add a simple cami or basic top, then layer on a statement jacket to elevate the look. I’ll finish it off with thong wedge heels if I’m going out, or sneakers if I’m running errands and want to keep it comfortable.

You have such an eye for aesthetics, what tips do you have for creating the perfect IG photo?
I try to challenge myself by experimenting with different perspectives and design treatments. I draw a lot of inspiration from my surroundings—whether that’s exploring a new exhibition or revisiting places that I love. Changing up my environment always helps me see things differently and keeps my content feeling fresh and intentional.
Are there other ways you love to express yourself artistically outside of social media?
Lately, I’ve been wanting to reconnect with the creative hobbies I grew up with, one of which is dancing. I love taking adult ballet + hip hop classes—part of my lore is that I was on a hip hop dance crew in college if you could believe! I also really enjoy baking; it’s another creative outlet that lets me slow down and be hands-on in a different way.

How are you styling your JBD jeans this season?
I’m so excited that capris are back - I’ve been styling the Camille Mid Rise Skinny Capri with a button down shirt and kitten heels, or going more casual with a boatneck top and flip flops. The cut is so flattering and works with just about anything.
