Tell us a bit about who you are and what you do!
I'm Maddy Lina, all things fashion lover. I would categorize myself as a creative who spend her time observing style trends and old and how they can apply to me and my life.
How did you get started with content creation?
I started a few years ago- it's a very casual thing for me. I always had a love for photography and fashion, this is a way for me to express both passions.

How would you describe your personal style today, and what was the journey like to develop it?
Relaxed, polished and simple. I went through many different stages in my style before finding a balance that fits me. Personally, I find it to be a bout my harmony and proportionality of pieces. I also usually have one inteesting item on at a time so the eye can focus on that.
We love your Office Job Outfits series on TikTok- what do you think is the perfect formula for a chic and effortless office outfit?
For me it is truly about feeling comfortable in your own clothes, so when I'm putting on an outfit I want to have confidence that it'll work for me throughout the day. Think layering and looser fabrics- nothing too restrictive but of course always office appropriate.

When you're styling an outfit for the office, where do you typically begin? Walk us through your process.
I usually start with pants/bottoms first then a top that pairs nicely with it. Going through different variations until I settle on the perfect combination. Then accessories are next, I'm always very mindful with how many pieces I put on- especially if it's for an office-can't be too distracting but you also want to look good.

What is one piece of advice you have for someone looking to bring more of their personal style into their office style?
Don’t limit yourself to the standard uniform of blazers and trousers explore your everyday style and tie it into your office style. It’s important that you feel like yourself, trust me you’ll notice a big difference in your confidence.
Do you have any trend predictions for fall? What trends are you most excited to wear once the weather cools down?
I love fall, it’s one of my favorite seasons for fashion! With trend cycling, I’m sure 90’s flannel is coming back in full swing. I think we’re going to see a lot of croc embossed items and jackets, which I find so interesting as a new animal print comes into style every year or so.

What’s your favorite way to dress up a classic jeans and t-shirt outfit?
The bag! I love a fun bag. You can add some interest with a pop of color or a texture like a fur trim or animal print. You can also add a statement necklace to the outfit, I have been loving pendant lately.
Describe your perfect day in denim - where are you going, what are you eating, what is your outfit like?
I wear denim almost every other day so I am doing just about everything in them. I get my lattes, going thrifting, grocery shopping, and cooking in them. I’m one of those odd people that lounge in my denim too—when I get home after a long day, I plop right onto the couch and settle in. That’s why good denim is important to me because they have to do everything with me!

Are there other ways you love to express yourself artistically outside of social media?
I love writing, painting, and lately I have been making my own jewelry. I love finding different ways to explore creativity—even if I’m not good at it.

I’m getting ready for fall so I’ve been wearing the Whimsy Thread Detail Classic Straight, it’s the perfect pair of dark wash denim that pairs with everything!
