Tell us more about who you are and what you do!
I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, and moved to California eight years ago. I initially studied law in the Philippines but realized that path wasn’t for me. However, my love for research, writing, and public service never wavered. That led me to my current role as a senior paralegal for the County, where I get to merge my passion for advocacy with legal analysis and casework.
We love your fashion videos on IG – how did you get started with content creation?
Growing up, I was always drawn to capturing memories—I loved taking photos and scrapbooking. When Instagram came around during my college years, it became my digital scrapbook, a place to document my travels, special moments, and, of course, my outfits! Content creation has always been a natural extension of who I am, but I started treating it more seriously and collaborating with brands about three years ago.

How would you describe your personal style and what was the journey like to develop your personal style?
Chic, elegant, and classic—those three words define my style. When I was younger, I was often told I dressed “mature” for my age (I never wore t-shirts or sneakers), but I took that as a compliment! My biggest style inspiration has always been my mom. She was a fashion designer in Manila, and I admired her ability to blend timeless sophistication with individuality.
We love that you share your office-outfits online! What do you think is the secret to dressing stylish in the workplace?
The secret is dressing in a way that reflects both your personal style and your character. I’m naturally introverted and demure, but also ambitious and driven. My wardrobe reflects that—neutral tones, simple yet structured silhouettes, and pieces that exude femininity and elegance while commanding confidence and professionalism (think tailored blazers, sleek trousers, and polished dresses). In short, style at work isn’t about trends—it’s about letting your personality shine through what you wear.
Where do you pull from for style and fashion inspiration specifically for the office?
Right now, I’m obsessed with ’90s fashion—think strong shoulders, cinched waists, tailored trousers, and A-line skirts. Princess Diana’s power suits? Iconic. Jacqueline Kennedy’s timeless elegance? Always inspiring. I love how these styles balance power and femininity in such a graceful way.
With spring quickly approaching, what are some trends you're excited to style in the upcoming months?
I cannot wait to bring skirts back into rotation—especially flowy, feminine ones! I’m also excited for tweed jackets and cinched-waist blazers, which I’d love to pair with flowy skirts to strike the perfect balance between structure and softness. And, of course, spring pastels! Butter yellow and soft pink are my current favorites.

What advice would you give someone looking to get started in creating fashion content online alongside balancing a 9-5?
First and foremost, create content because you love it! When you're passionate about something, the time and effort you put in will feel exciting rather than exhausting. High-quality content does take dedication, but with the right mindset, it becomes a fulfilling creative outlet rather than a chore. I’ve found that having a schedule really helps—I usually shoot on weekends but make sure to leave time for family and friends. Finding that balance allows me to stay consistent while still enjoying the process.
Consistency is important, but so is knowing when to pause and recharge. If my 9-to-5 leaves me feeling drained, I give myself grace and skip posting the next morning, allowing myself a slower, more restful start to the day. Honoring both my passion and my well-being helps me stay creative, motivated, and truly enjoy the journey.
What is your process for putting together a good outfit for work every day?
I prioritize looking polished while staying comfortable. My go-to formula? A monochromatic suit set with a matching top—it’s effortlessly chic. I also stick to shoes under two inches since I often have to walk to court. A great outfit should empower you to move through your day with ease and confidence.

Are there other areas of your life that you enjoy expressing yourself artistically outside of social media?
Yes! I was a classically trained pianist for 12 years, but I stopped playing in college. Lately, I’ve been trying to get back into it. Music is so relaxing, both mentally and physically, and playing the piano brings back fond memories of my dad—he was my biggest fan when I played. It’s a special part of my life that I’d love to reconnect with.
How are you styling your JBD jeans this spring?
A crisp button-down with jeans is such an effortlessly chic combination. I also love pairing them with a trench coat or layering a knit sweater over a tank. The beauty of denim is in its versatility and the possibilities are endless!
