Tell us more about who you are and what you do! Originally from Virginia, so I grew up an east coaster. Upon entering my twenties, I decided to move to California on a whim to either go to pastry school, or work my way up at a bakery over there. I’ve had a passion for baking most of my life really, so the leap felt right to make. Life just kind of blossomed after that. I ended up attending pastry school in Portland, and now live in the Pacific Northwest with my little family. I worked at a bakery as an assistant pastry chef for 5 years, and still bake a ton at home in my spare time.
We love your fashion videos on tiktok - how did you get started with content creation?
Being a creative person, fashion has always been a form self expression. I started filming my outfits to keep as a log for myself. I think the more I filmed, the more confident I got putting together outfits. Seeing myself on film really helped refine my style.

How would you describe your personal style and what was the journey like to develop your personal style?
I think my style choices really depend on the mood I’m feeling that particular day. Mostly, I like to be comfortable in whatever I wear. I do love experimenting and thinking ahead when it comes to diversifying my outfits each season, but generally I love a bit of a masculine/feminine tomboy chic vibe. It took a lot of trial and error over the years to find what I like on myself. Generally having an open mind helps a lot - not being closed off to what interests you.
Where do you pull style and find inspiration from?
I pull inspiration from everything. I’m always taking screenshots when I feel pulled towards a particular energy I’m attracted to, or saving pins styling certain pieces I added to my wardrobe that season. I’ll watch a 90s rom com and feel particularly drawn to what the actress was wearing in that one scene I can’t get out of my brain. It’s really just a cycle of finding ways I can recreate outfits I’m attracted to with what I have in my closet - switching things out and making the outfit my own, in a sense.

With fall quickly approaching, what are some trends you're excited to style in the upcoming months?
I’m excited to style a lot of suede and dark denim this season. I’ll probably still be doing more fun socks with little heels or flats. Also chore jackets, hunter boots, and leaning a little more into that frazzled English aesthetic would be fun to incorporate into my outfits this fall.
What advice would you give someone looking to get started in creating fashion content on tiktok?
Stay consistent and don’t get discouraged. We all have to start somewhere, and it starts with just showing up and letting your ego go a bit. Things won’t be perfect and might even be a little embarrassing at times, but just do your best. Build up your drafts and start with one or two easy videos a day. It will resonate with the people it’s supposed to reach when it’s meant to reach them.

What is your process for putting together a good outfit every day?
Again, just paying attention to how I’m feeling that day. If I try to put on an experimental outfit when I’m feeling the exact opposite of that, it’s never going to look good. It’s okay to just stick with the basics, or throw on an oversized sweatshirt and call it a day. Go with your gut
Are there other areas of your life that you enjoy expressing yourself artistically outside of tiktok?
Baking and fashion for me go hand in hand - both allow me to kind of lose myself in the craft. I also enjoy making themed music playlists, watching movies, and reading (mostly) fantasy in my down time
How are you styling your JBD jeans this fall?
with elevated basics, cool jackets/coats, and my current shoe rotation.
