Tell us more about who you are and what you do!
My name is Susanne and I am born and raised in Norway. I’m a fashion/ lifestyle content creator and model. And currently focusing on acting.
We love your fashion content on instagram - how did you get started with content creation?
I’ve always loved taking photos and had my own style, but when COVID started I had brands reaching out to me so that’s when I started taking it seriously. Coming from the modeling world, I enjoy content creation because I get to be in full control of every aspect of it. From planning out the outfits and handling the finishing touches.

How did you get into modeling? Did you always want to be a model?
I moved to Australia to go to school and one of my friends boyfriends asked if I wanted to model for him. I was super shy and had never considered that I would be able to model. Not to say I didn’t dream of it, it was more that I didn’t think I was good enough.
But we started shooting and the more I did the more I loved it and my confidence grew.
Does the clothes you get to wear and experiences you have from the modeling industry influence your own personal style at all?
I think it influences my style because I get to experiment more. And to me fashion is all about having fun and expressing yourself. However, I had my own style from early on. In high school I had boys compliment my style because I dressed different. I was somewhere in between avril lavigne and ciara, and I def still am lol
With fall quickly approaching, what are some trends you're excited to style in the upcoming months?
Fall is my favorite fashion season, it’s more dark neutrals and layers! I’m excited about brown sneakers, Moto boots, suede coats & bags. I also love the burgundy details that are still trending this season!

What is your go to ‘model off duty’ outfit?
Jeans and a tee is always a safe go to. With a Moto/ leather jacket
What advice would you give someone wanting to get into the modeling industry?
Make sure you’re confident in who you are because you’ll experience rejection and commentary on your body. Reach out to photographer near you and ask if they want to do test shoots. Some you might have to pay for, but if it’s good photographers it’s worth it! Trust me, the photographer will either make you look amazing or terrible depending on their skills so do your research. (And set boundaries for yourself, say no if you’re feeling uncomfortable!). Then you can start reaching out to modeling agencies near you.
Remember that just because someone says no doesn’t mean you can’t do it. Make sure you’re nice to people, from the assistant to the photographer. I have been freelance more or less since I started and I’ve done NYFW, been in vogue, had cover shoots etc. mostly because of the connections I’ve made in the Industry.

Are there other areas of your life that you enjoy expressing yourself artistically outside of modeling?
Content creation is a great way to express yourself. But right now I’m focusing on acting. Which is different and more vulnerable than modeling for sure
How are you styling your JBD jeans this fall?
I love my JBD jeans, they are so flattering and comfortable and I will def style them many different ways. With a blazer, a coat knit, monochrome. You name it. They are def the star of the show
